International Men's Day - 2011
Men in Childcare Network Ireland and Men in Childcare Europe, a European network made up of Men in Childcare networks from individual EU member countries, is hosting a European conference on “Reimagining Childhood Care & Education” A celebration of Universal Children’s Day, and International Men’s Day. International Men's Day at the Raphoe Family Resource Centre
  
This week from Raphoe Family Resource Centre will be focusing with different groups on the value of, and highlighting the positive contribution that men make. If any children have any poems or stories about their daddies, grandfathers, uncles or big brothers that they would like to submit to Raphoe Family Resource Centre which will be on display all week. International Men's Day will take place on Saturday 19th November. Let the men in your life know how important they are. |

IMD INAUGURATION IN REPUBLIC OF IRELAND - 2009
To Celebrate International Men's Day on Thursday 19th of November NEWSTALK had an entire show dedicated to men. The show was hosted by Tom Dunne and ran for the entire morning. Topics included discussion of how 'Men's Sheds' contribite to improving men's health, and of their growing popularity. This was the Republic of Ireland's first ever celebration of the International Men's Day.
